THURSDAY CHALLENGE:

Todays challenge is Rest: Bedroom, Pillows, Hammock, Peaceful Places, Pajamas, Napping, Sleeping...
This is my entry, which isn't a photo of a bedroom, a pillow, a hammock or pajamas, and is certinaly anything but peaceful! But what struck me is the fact that kids can sleep pretty much anywhere, through anything and on anything. I use to be like this. A train could blast past and if tired enough I would sleep right through it. Not so much anymore.

This weeks challenge is PLAY...
I took this photo at the Dogwood Festival. The festival is held in Piedmont Park which is downtown Atlanta. The weather cooperated this year giving us a beautiful weekend.  

Got my challenges a little out of order but oh well... :o)

This weeks challenge is: FAMILY

I think I need a new wheel barrel / barrow...

So which is it? The wheel barrow is defined as a one or two wheeled device used to carry small loads. A no brainer right! But do you say barrel or barrow? I have always said it as barrel but have since learned that the correct term is in fact barrow. Maybe it's a regional thing and depends on the part of the country or world your from. At any rate, it just goes to show, your never too old to learn!

Symbols

So I have decided to jump in and actually start posting some stuff to this blog, which I have had for years but have never posted anything.
My first post is a photo contest or challenge called Photo Friday. This weeks challenge is called Symbols. I had several in mind but just last night a guy in the neighborhood came home from Afghanistan. So in his honor I am submitting this as my Symbol.
